~1 Week Earlier~

Vivian wasn’t getting anywhere. He was undercover as a man named Alex, and wore a black wig and had dark blue contacts in. He dressed in the same bright blue jumpsuit all the other men wore, and was silent, just like the rest of them.

His day was always the same. He had to wake up at 7 o’clock in the morning
and had ten minutes to eat poison for breakfast —it wasn’t really poison, it just felt that way— and then go work on the missiles for ten hours. They would then have the same food they had earlier for dinner, and had to be in bed by seven in the evening.

Vivian had only been there for three days, but he was already fed up for it. But he kept his mouth shut, did his work, and spent all of his free time working on those damn missiles.

~Now~

Vivian didn’t know how he had ended up tied up in the chair, but he figured that he had been found out. ‘But how?’ he was always asking himself. ‘The only way they would’ve known was if someone sold me out. But only Celia and Anthony know. So how the hell was I found out?’

Viv had plenty of time to ponder this while he was gagged. He wasn’t sure how long he had been in the dark, stinky basement of the factory he was working in for the past week. Unless he wasn’t in the factory.

Vivian nodded to himself. ‘That must be it,; he thought. He knew there was no way he was in the same building, seeing as he had been into every room when looking for a way to disable the missiles, and he would’ve found a basement on at least one of his daily searches.

And there was something else that greatly confused Vivian. Why couldn’t he see? From the way he heard footsteps in the room everyday, he knew a light would have to be on in order for their owner to see. But he felt no cloth over his eyes. He would have known if he was blinded, right?

Right?

Viv wasn’t sure what he knew was and wasn’t real at this point. There seemed to be so much happening around him, but at the same time he felt so distant from the sounds of shuffling feet and whispering voices. It almost felt like he wasn’t inside of his own body.

‘No,’ he thought. ‘That’s just crazy talk.’ But was it really? All these thoughts of his spirit or soul being disconnected from his body was way to philosophical for him to think about now, so he just cleared all thoughts from his head. There was nothing he could do but wait.

Because of the new issue of Vivian’s capture, Celia and Anthony told the teenagers to spend the day getting to know each other better.

They had ended up in the mall —after promising the two adults that they wouldn’t destroy the cars or get into trouble— and were now strolling around.

After about an hour walking through the mall, the teens got split up into groups. Gray was walking with Clary and Sierra towards to foodcourt for some lunch. Felix and Trey were going through random store that Dean and Emma dragged them into. They didn’t seem to mind though, enjoying the two’s antics.

Originally Terrance was walking alone, until Arther and London dragged him, quite literally, to the pet store with them.  The mall was famous for it’s huge pet store, complete with a nice amount of food, toys, pet beds and any other needs.

However, it was mainly notorious for the fact that you could adopt cats and dogs from them. Daily, the shop was flooded with kids and new couples gazing at the animals, with their original names and equally unique characteristics.

While London was watching the puppies run around in their little areas, Arther and Terrance were watching the lazy cats, and occasional kitten playing its little heart out.

Everyone in the mall were startled out of whatever they were doing, when an announcement came over the intercom.

“This is a warning to all shoppers. There is an armed teenager in this mall. He is of average height boy with pale skin, black hair and dark eyes. If you see this boy wearing a navy turtle neck with a white coat over it, please stay away and report him immediately.”

Terrance, London and Arther all gave each other panicked looks. ‘Gray,’ they all thought. The announcer had just given an exact description of their new companion. But… where had he gotten a weapon?

After the announcement had come over the intercom, Gray automatically sped walked to the bathroom, seizing everyone’s confusion. Sierra and Clary knew they needed to help Gray look different before the waltzed halfway across the mall and out of the entrance.

The two girls went to a nearby clothing store and bought a black t-shirt and skinny jeans, then went into a nearby store and bought a wig and a pair of fake glasses.

Just as they were about to exit the store, the entrance was filled by… Gray?

Gray himself was standing in the doorway, a rifle in his hands. “Everyone get on the ground!” he yelled.

Sierra and Clary complied, not wanting to attract attention to themselves. Neither one understood how Gray could’ve grabbed a gun and gotten here in the five minutes it took them to buy the items.

But because Clary had known Gray for a while, she was looking at the inside of his wrist. Their was a small bruise from when Gray had hurt himself as a child, yet it had not gone away after 13 years.

When Clary did not see the bruise, she knew this Gray was a fake. She got Sierra’s attention as Fake Gray went around and took people’s valuables. When he got over to them, Clary caused her watch to have an extreme amount of heat.

When the Fake Gray took it, he yelled out as it burned his hand, dropping it. But Sierra caught a flicker of a girl before the image was returned to Gray. ‘Shapeshifting,’ she thought.

Suddenly, the glass shattered as the real Gray crashed through it. “Woah! I have a twin!”

Needless to say, all the bystanders in the room were very confused. So when Sierra spun low to the ground with her foot out and caused the Fake Gray to hit the ground and loose her concentration, the civilians gasped.

On the floor was no longer the appearance of Gray, but of Ramona, Alec’s daughter. Clary knew this shouldn’t be handled in public, and took this moment as an opportunity.
“Sierra! Teleport to the car and get it started, then call Celia! Gray and I will get the others.”

Sierra curtly nodded and disappeared, while Gray and Clary hopped over the broken glass of the doors and in the walkways of the mall. They knew London and Arther would go to the pet store, and started running there.

When they almost collided with not only London and Arther, but Terrance as well, the teens nodded and paused.

They agreed to search the stores of their respective sides, then Gray and Terrance would look on the second floor while the other three went towards the cars.

Gray and Terrance ran to the left while the other three ran to their right. When the teens failed to find Felix, Emma, Dean and Trey, Gray and Terrance ran up to the second floor while the other three went to one of the cars.

Gray and Terrance split up, but could not find the four missing teens. They were about to call Sierra, before seeing Emma and Trey. Gray automatically ran up to Em, who looked like she was walking on a hurt leg.

Emma looked pissed off. “He got them!”

Terrance saw Gray was too worried about his longtime friend’s leg, so turned to Trey. “Who got who?”

Trey crossed his arms, his left eye slightly twitching. “Raphael got Felix and Dean. He jumped us, and after a bit of fighting, he grabbed them and just disappeared.”

Emma nodded. “He had a sledge hammer with him. And no, he didn’t hit me in the leg with it. He somehow blew Trey back, and I landed weirdly on my leg.”

Terrance nodded. “Look, we have to get out of here before we see him and his friend again. Emmalyn, can you run on your leg?”

Emma gave a sharp nod, and followed the others as they sped down the stairs and out the door. Sierra had pulled the van up, and the four jumped in, glad they only had to worry about the one vehicle.
Sierra handed the phone back to Trey and Emma, who explained their part of the story to Celia. Sierra then stepped on the gas, and the van went screeching out of the mall parking lot.

Felix looked over at Dean, who seemed to be having another panic attack. Actually, it seemed like it had never stopped.

Felix stood up, his head almost hitting the top of the low ceiling of their cell, and walked over to Dean, sitting next to him. “Hey,” he said encouragingly. “we’re gonna be fine. When the others find us, I’m sure Emma and Trey will be tearing this place to the ground to find us.”

‘This place’ Felix knew was the old building he, Emma and Gray used to work in. In the most recent battle, however, he thought it had been destroyed.

Dean started to calm down a bit, and gave a wry smile to Felix. “Are you sure? It seems heavily guarded…”

Felix knew this as well. He had automatically seen the cameras throughout the cell, and at night he heard the conversations of the guards just out of their view. Felix had guessed they were in the attic, seeing as a basement would be too cliche.

The building had had a huge attic when it was standing, and it probably didn’t take Alec long to rebuild it. It had to have been bigger than Felix’s old house, which was pretty big to begin with.

Felix put his hand on Dean’s shoulder. “Of course we’ll get out! Even if we have to bust out ourselves, we won’t be here for long.”

If only he knew.
Cover is of Felix and Dean.
I did not make Felix's character, it was made by this person: virtualfroze.deviantart.com/
This picture was made with Rinmarugames. I don't own the artwork, I simply flipped it so the two boys could be shown.
